Node configuration options
All StorPool nodes and services running on them keep the major part of their configuration in a distributed form in the storage cluster itself. However, there is some basic information that a node need to join the cluster, like network interfaces used for StorPool, cluster and node IDs, IP addresses and VLANs, and so on. This information is stored in configuration files on the local file system. When a node boots it processes the configuration settings from the files, which allows it to join the cluster.
